Liniar Casement Windows

Liniar casement windows offer total versatility and remain the most popular choice for homes all over the UK today.

This traditional British window style offers slim sight lines to let in maximum light. Available in a wide choice of configurations, including top or side hung, arched top, or as a French window fire escape.  Adding mock sash horns gives Liniar casement windows the appearance of traditional vertical sliders. To add character you can add astragal bars or Georgian bars

Choosing Liniar uPVC casement windows means you can say goodbye to draughty windows forever – Liniar’s unique, patented double-action bubble gasket, used in all our products, delivers a continuous seal – even in the corners – also keeping your windows weather proof and leak-free.

Available in sculptured (curved) or chamfered (bevelled) 70mm profiles (frames), with either 28mm double or 36mm triple glazing, Liniar uPVC casement windows can be internally or externally beaded. Consumers can choose from Liniar’s standard 4-chamber profile, delivering supreme energy efficiency, or Liniar EnergyPlus 6-chamber profile to offer A+ Window Energy Ratings with ease – together with a wide choice of colours, finishes, hardware and glazing options.

The brand new Liniar Flush Sash Windows casement window offers an eco-friendly, cost effective alternative to traditional timber windows, with the sash fitting flush into the frame.

The Liniar brand

The Liniar brand of windows and doors is synonymous with energy efficiency, with the full product range designed and manufactured at its state-of-the-art factory in Derbyshire – however you can’t buy the finished products directly from Liniar.

Instead, the lead-free uPVC frames that are used to create Liniar products are extruded using the very latest technology and machinery, then supplied to a nationwide network of carefully selected window fabricators who manufacture the casement windows and doors to our specific and strict specifications, add glass to meet your individual glazing requirements and either install the products themselves or pass them onto independent window installers.

Technically advanced

The technology used in many other uPVC casement window profiles is at least 20 years old. Liniar’s multi-chambered casement window profile was designed completely from scratch in 2007 and is far more technically advanced than most window systems on the UK market – built for today’s challenges.

Liniar Flush Sash Windows

Flush sash windows are the latest exciting development from Liniar. They offer the realism of a traditional pre-1932 timber window combined with 21st century thermal benefits.

Many property owners require a traditional timber window frame, sometimes due to planning or environmental restrictions.

Timber frames tend to be expensive, need regular maintenance and can be difficult to replace.

Liniar recognised the need to develop a casement window frame that would fit into any property where the sash fitted flush into the frame – and which could be foiled to look like traditional timber or to offer a sleek, contemporary finish.

Liniar flush sash windows, like the rest of the Liniar EnergyPlus window range, are A+ rated. They offer a lower cost window with higher thermal benefits than timber – in addition to being fully secure.

Available in sculptured profile with the flush finish on external faces, 28mm double or triple glazing, internally beaded, with a wide choice of opening configurations, colours, finishes, hardware and glazing.

Liniar – brand new

Created and produced in our purpose-built factory in the heart of the UK, the Liniar range of windows and doors has been celebrated for its impressive energy efficiency. What you may not know though is that Liniar doesn’t sell the finished products directly.

Using cutting edge technology and machinery, Liniar extrudes the lead-free uPVC frames used for its products, and distributes them to a nationwide network of reputable window fabricators. These fabrication experts make Liniar flush sash uPVC windows to our precise and exact pattern. Glass is added and the fabricator then either fits the products themselves or supplies them to independent window installers.

Why Choose Liniar Tilt & Turn Windows?

Liniar tilt & turn windows are available in the same ranges as our other window choices – standard or EnergyPlus.

Very much a European design, the Liniar tilt and turn window allows you to let in fresh air while also offering security.

The open in style gives great options for cleaning from within (in the turn position) and secure ventilation (in the tilt position).

Offering a greater scope for larger openings than a traditional casement window, Liniar’s tilt & turn windows are ideal for high-rise as well as low-rise applications, and thermal performance is helped by the larger panes of glass.

Perfect as a fire escape or simply to let in more fresh air, Liniar tilt & turn windows are available in both ‘tilt before turn’ or ‘turn before tilt’ options.

As with all Liniar windows, our tilt and turn windows can be fitted with standard locking, or high security fittings to meet the latest and highest security standards.

Choosing Liniar uPVC tilt & turn windows means that you no longer have to worry about draughty windows – Liniar’s distinctive, patented double-action bubble gasket, ensures an uninterrupted seal – even in the corners – also making sure your windows are leak-free and weather proof.

Available in chamfered (bevelled) or sculptured (curved) profiles, with a choice of 28mm double or 36mm triple glazing, Liniar uPVC tilt & turn windows can be internally or externally beaded.

Liniar is different

Liniar windows and doors have become synonymous with energy efficiency. The entire range of products have been created and producted at its purpose-built premises in the midlands – however, the finished products aren’t available directly from Liniar.

Using the latest technology and machinery, the lead-free uPVC frames used in Liniar products are extruded by us and then supplied nationwide to a network of trusted window manufacturers who produce the finished windows and doors to our strict designs.

Glass is then added to cater for specific glazing requirements and then either fitted by themselves or sold on to independent window installers.

Why Choose Liniar French Doors?

An attractive alternative to patio or bi-folding doors, Liniar’s range of French doors are an ideal choice where the aperture size is more limiting.

Offering a more traditional aesthetic, Liniar’s stunning range of uPVC French doors come with the same high specification and colour choices as our window range – just as you’d expect.

Available in either an ‘open in’ or ‘open out’ style to suit your living space, the Liniar French door provides your home with a beautiful and secure entrance – along with a range of patented low and ultra-low threshold options.

Ensuring you enjoy the maximum amount of natural light in your home, the fully sculptured features of the Liniar French door provides a beautiful finish.

Liniar French doors are not only lead-free and aesthetically pleasing but have been created with security in mind.

A vital component of all Liniar products is security and our doors are fully accredited to meet the necessary standards, including Secured by Design and PAS 24:2012, plus they are fully compliant with the latest relevant divisions of the Building Regulations.

Available in chamfered or sculptured profile, 28mm double or 36mm triple glazing, with standard 4-chamber or EnergyPlus 6-chamber profile – along with threshold choices (including Part M compliant) and a great range of hardware, finishes and glazing options.

Choose from a wide variety of colour options including White, Rosewood, Cream, Irish Oak, and Light Oak. Liniar French doors are also offered in a choice of bespoke colours including Chartwell Green, Grey and classic Black.

Environmentally friendly

The installation of energy efficient doors, windows and roofs is one of the most effective ways to save energy inside your home.

Mainly due to our innovative multi-chambered uPVC profile design, Liniar frames outperform most of the other leading brands in the UK when it comes to thermal efficiency.

This is measured in U-values, which are a measure of a door’s efficiency at preventing heat transfer into and out of a property.

The more effective a door is at preventing heat loss from a building, the lower the U-value.

Liniar’s French doors can achieve a U-value of 1.3 W/m²K, allowing you to enjoy a quieter and warmer home as well as reduced energy bills.
